The challenge
Wings Contractors builds residential, commercial, and industrial projects across Kenya — buildings, roadworks, renovations, landscaping — 40+ completed projects over 5+ years, serving homeowners, businesses, and county governments. Their site was running on WordPress with a stack of outdated plugins that hadn't been updated in years, leaving it exposed to known vulnerabilities and increasingly unstable to maintain.
What we built
- A full redesign and migration off WordPress entirely — no plugins, no PHP attack surface.
- A marketing site structured around their real service categories: building & construction, interior works, exterior finishes, precast & concrete, renovation, and landscaping.
- Content managed in Sanity, so the team can add projects and update service listings without touching code or worrying about plugin updates.
- Deployed as a static site on AWS S3 + CloudFront — the same architecture we use for ditesol.co.ke, with no server-side code to patch or exploit.
The outcome
Wings Contractors now runs on infrastructure with no plugin vulnerabilities to patch, loads fast anywhere in Kenya, and is easy for their team to keep current — while presenting their project history and service range clearly to homeowners, businesses, and county government clients.
